Terms of Service

By accessing or using Survey Coder Pro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

Survey Coder Pro is a SaaS platform that uses artificial intelligence to automatically code open-ended survey responses. The Service includes: • AI-powered codebook generation and response coding • Manual code correction and validation tools • Data export in multiple formats • Collaboration and team management features We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Credit packages are one-time purchases (not subscriptions) paid in advance. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. The service is provided by Insight Genius LLC. • 1 credit = 1 open-ended response coded; credits are consumed as you use them • Credits never expire • Credit purchases are non-refundable once the transaction is complete, as they grant immediate access to a digital service • Where applicable law grants a consumer a right of withdrawal (for example, 7 days in Brazil and equivalent periods in Mexico or the EU), only unused credits will be refunded within that window • Price changes do not affect credits already purchased For any question about your purchase, email us at hello@surveycoder.io.

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including survey responses, codebooks, and coded results. We do not use your data to train AI models. Your data is processed solely to provide the coding service and is not shared with third parties. Survey Coder Pro and its underlying technology, design, and branding are owned by the Company. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for high accuracy in AI-powered coding, results should be reviewed by qualified researchers. We are not liable for: • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our control • Interruptions to the Service Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination: • Your access to the Service will end at the conclusion of your current billing period • You may export your data before termination • We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure, unless required by law to retain it Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
