SurveyCoder: synthetic NPS coding example (English) Created 2026-10-06. All eight comments, scores, identifiers and reference labels were written for this demonstration. They contain no customer data. The labels are editorial reference decisions, not the output of a SurveyCoder model run or a benchmark. The files illustrate a handoff format, not the exact Excel or SPSS export. Files: - nps-coding-reference.csv: comments, scores, waves and reference decisions. - nps-codebook.csv: the code definitions used for the reference decisions. Read both files as UTF-8. Multiple reference codes use | as a separator. Code 999 is exclusive. A score alone never supplies a theme. These broad categories are illustrative, not a recommended production codebook for a bank or airline. Each program needs its own approved rules. No sentiment label is inferred from the NPS score. For a real pilot, agree on the codebook, handling of ambiguous answers, multicoding rules and acceptance criteria. Review differences against an independent human reference and record total preparation and review time. If definitions change across waves, reconcile them before comparing shares. Theme associations with promoter/passive/detractor groups are not causal evidence about changes in the NPS score. This sample is too small for estimates.
