How much does the connector cost?

The connector is free. Coding consumes credits exactly as in the portal, and Claude shows you the exact cost before starting.

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

You need a Claude account that can use connectors. Survey Coder charges nothing extra for connecting it.

Can Claude change or delete my data without me knowing?

No. The only actions that write are importing a file and starting coding, and both show a summary and wait for your confirmation. It does not delete projects.

What doesn't it do yet?

It doesn't upload files (upload them in the portal), refine the codebook, add tracking waves or export deliverables. File analysis supports .sav.

What about the privacy of my data?

Claude acts with your session and your organization's permissions. We log which tools were used and when, for support; the contents of your responses are not stored in that log.
